I didn't expect it to be anything special, but it was actually curling my hair pretty well. Even with the small size (which is perfect for travel), it curled my hair pretty well. The only thing I am not so happy about is that it took some time to heat up. It didn't really curl well till about 10 minutes of heating up. But still, worth the wait. I highly suggest it for traveling use, and even just for a regular occasion if you don't have a regular curling iron.
